Some Tricks on Embedding Photos in Ning
|
Here are the tricks of embedding a photo in Ning.
To add a photo in Ning, you just need to click on the "image" thumbnail just above this text box and upload it from your computer. If you want to embed it, you need a code. From Flickr, it's pretty easy. Upload your photo to Flickr. Once you've uploaded it, click on the photo and just above it, you'll see "all sizes", just above the photo. You'll be able to choose a size you want to embed and copy the html anywhere on a webpage. VoilĂ ! Copy the code and embed it in a Ning message.

Note: not everybody leave it open for others to copy the embed code. If you go to your Flickr Account, in your settings, you'll be able to decide if you want to let users copy the embed code or not.

As I'm for sharing, I let it open! My photos are all under Creative Commons license, which we'll be working on next week.
Even easier to embed. Using the "Share this" in Flickr

Another way to add photos to your messages in Ning is discussed here (Mac users).
